Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains what Hazloez.co.uk collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

Hazloez.co.uk is the data controller for the personal data described here. Hazloez is a UK-registered business, VAT registration number GB288543850. Contact: support@hazloez.co.uk

What this site is

Hazloez.co.uk is an editorial site. We do not sell anything, take payments, operate a checkout, or offer user accounts. We do not run advertising or analytics tracking. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

What we collect

When you visit any page

Our web server records standard technical information in its logs: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising tracker.

When you use the contact form

The name, email address and message you type. That is all of it, and it is used only to reply to you. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks whether a submission is automated; Google may set a cookie and process technical data for that purpose. reCAPTCHA loads only on the contact page.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies in normal use are functional ones set by our page caching, plus Google reCAPTCHA on the contact page. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

What we no longer collect

Until 2025 this site operated as an online shop. Customer accounts, order records and contact details from that period were permanently erased on 13 August 2026. Payment card details were never stored on this site — payments were handled by PayPal and Stripe on their own systems.

Legal basis

  • Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure and working, including spam protection on the contact form
  • Legitimate interests — replying to a message you chose to send us

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. Data is processed on our behalf by our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and Google (for reCAPTCHA on the contact form only). Google may process reCAPTCHA data outside the UK under its own transfer safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: kept while the query is open, then deleted
  • Server logs: retained by our host on their standard rotation

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Email support@hazloez.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top.
